| Sonja and her horses and dogs |
Introduction My name is Sonja Zbinden, I was born (1971) and lived in
Switzerland, until I moved in 2008 to Canada. I’m living with Sam, 2 horses (Frosty, Quarter horse and Berwyn,
a Quarter horse/Arabian), 2 dogs (Nora, a German Shepard cross and Luna, a Grate Pyrenees/Greyhound cross) and 4 farm cats
(Tom, Lilly, Lulu and Lucy) on a grain farm North of Manning, Alberta. I grew up with horses and English Riding and I
did for many years Show jumping, since I moved to Canada, I do Western Riding.
How I discovered the
Bach Flower Essences? In Europe Bach Flower Essences are well known,
so I had my first experiences with them 20 years ago. At that time, my Show jumping horse “Bisar” had a serious
back injury and I had to give him a break for a few weeks. The vet could help him on his physical pain but he couldn’t
help him to get over his mental problem. He suffered from a deep depression, then he was used to be ridden every day and suddenly
he was not even allowed to leave his stable and go for a short walk. I was really concerned that his negative emotional state
of mind would affect his physical recovery. I gave him Bach Flower Essences and he was doing better and better and recovered
from his injury. He could never go back to a jumping competition, but we had another 10 wonderful years together. Many years later my best friend Ulrike from Germany introduced me again to the Bach Flower Essences.
By that time, I was the person taking them and since then, I’m taking them off and on and I began to be interested
more and more in their impact and the
use of it.

Education In February 2011 I went for a course in Calgary to learn how to use the Bach Flower Essences on Horses and Dogs
and how to do calming Acupressure. I met a wonderful instructor and person named Diana Thompson (www.dianathompson.com) from California and I would
like to thank her, from the bottom of my heart, for introducing me to that awesome work with the Bach Flower Essences and
Acupressure for Horses and Dogs and giving me a lot of inspiration and support. In July, after completing an externship
work, I graduated with a score of 100 %.
Horses and Dogs are my passion for life and the Bach Flower Essences are a wonderful tool to bring harmony and happiness
to them. I look forward in meeting you and your horse/dog and to introduce you to the wonderful
impact Bach Flower Essences can have in your and your pet’s life! See you soon, Sonja
